If you are using another browser or Internet Utility to call NetEase via WIN98 or higher you should use the NetEase Setup Utility to make sure your settings are correct. If you would like to setup your settings manually follow these steps to make your connection to NetEase.

1. Open Control Panel and choose Network Connections

2. Look for the NetEase Connection icon. If it is not present, double click Make New Connection icon.

3. In the Make New Connection window, type in NetEase as the name of computer you are dialing. Click Next.

4.Leave Area Code blank if you are a local call to NetEase. Type in the appropriate NetEase number in the telephone number box.

Henderson County: 845-5285

Decatur County: 845-5285

Wayne County: 722-6700

Perry County: 589-6700

5. Click Next, then click Finish.

6. You should now have a NetEase icon in the Network Connections window. Right click the NetEase Dial-Up Networking icon and click Set As Default.
