The Accelerated Reader program is a computerized reading
management system. Students select a book to read. They go to the computer
and take a test on the book. The test consists of five, ten, or
twenty questions about important facts in the book. The computer scores
the test, awards the students points based on test performance, and
keeps a complete record of results. Students are rewarded with certificates
and prizes. They are allowed to shop in the AR store on a regular basis to
spend their points. Listed below are the top ten students in each grade.
