Funeral services for Dennis Wayne Blankenship, age 60 will be Thursday, August 9, 2007 at 4:00 P. M. at Reeds Chapel with Bro. William Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Lexington Cemetery. Mr. Blankenship was an employee of M.I.G., retired from Malone & Hyde, retired from the National Guard, and a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church .He died Tuesday in Jackson.

He is survived by his wife Joann Blankenship, his mother Lorene Blankenshp; two Daughters, Tara (John) Wiseman of Camden, Donna (William) Coleman of Lexington; a son. Daniel (Becky) Blankenship of Lexington; three sisters, Wanda Small, Regina Maness, and Debbie Patterson all of Lexington; six grandchildren, Breanna Reeves, Luke Wiseman, Tas Coleman, David Coleman, Emily and Emma Blankenship. Visitation will be Wed. 3:30 P. M. until 10:00 P. M. and Thursday 10:00 A. M. until service.
