One of the goals of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Lexington, is to continually look for new ways in which to enrich our spiritual lives.

This special class was formed on March 6, 2005, to run for the regular Sunday School quarterly session, and presented by Wanda and Randy Rosenberry.

Here you can see Wanda and Randy passing out the special books and getting the folks settled down for the lesson.

Over 20 people registered for this special Sunday School Session and the excitement and anticipation was very apparent.

As the lesson began and the introduction was given, it soon became obvious to most of us (maybe to "all" of us) that this might very well be a life changing experience.

The faces all around the table were attentive and interested. When it came time for a group discussion everyone was talking at once.

It seemed that Wanda only had to throw out but one question, or make one remark, to cause a reaction from the class. Even the "quiet" folks who rarely, if ever, spoke at all, had something to contribute.

Cecil Murphey is a wonderful author, who has written, co-written or ghostwritten more than 95 books. The firt twelve who signed up for this class were given his book "Seeking God's Hidden Face", myself being among those twelve.

He has been involved in the work of the Lord nearly all his life, as a missionary in East Africa, a pastor in the Atlanta area, a lecturer and a teacher. He has no doubt touched the lives of thousands, more likely, millions of people.

Our teacher, Wanda Rosenberry, proudly claims Cecil Murphey as her father.

Its without a doubt, going to be a wonderful three month session.

Those signed up are - Linda Fout, Janet & Rein Ewertz, Christine Walters, Lucille Jones, Louise Nicholson, Barbara Walker, Molly & Gene Wilson, Pat Jones, Nelle & Bill Priddy, Jeannie Ross, Betty Casselberry, Joann Blankenship, Myrtle & Gray Bawcum, Randy & Wanda Rosenberry, Tim Sellers, Patty Almond, Ester McPeake.

Anyone wishing to attend are invited and very welcome.

Classes are at 10 A.M. Sunday Morning.
