I grew up in Parsons, TN. and attended grade school. My family moved to Mammoth Spring, AR. where I attended high school and where my dad pastored First Baptist Church Mammoth Spring, for about eight years. My wife, JoAnn, is from Mammoth Spring. We were married there and moved to St. Louis, MO. We worked there for a few months until Uncle Sam sent for me. I served in the Army for two years, and spent eighteen months of that in Germany. After getting out of the Army, we made our home in Kansas City, MO for seven and one half years. Our two children, a daughter, Rhonda and a son, David were born there.
Rhonda is employed by Brach Candy in Chattanooga, TN and David is pastor of Burt Baptist Church, Woodbury, TN.
We left Kansas City, MO and moved to Tennessee. We have lived on both the East and West side of the Tennessee River that divides Middle and West Tennessee. I have had the Lord's help in pastoring four Churches and served as interim of two Churches. I have held Revivals and other Mission emphasis in TN, AR, MO, MI, OH, IN, and three Mission Trips to Jamaica, W.I.
