Extrusion/Curing:

We extrude custom-shaped profiles and tubing in a variety of hardnesses (40D - 80D) and colors in the following materials:

1.     EPDM
2.     Nitrile (Buna N)  (See also Mixing)
3.     Neoprene
4.     SBR (FDA approved)
5.     MIL-R Specs 6855, 900, 3065, 2765

These can be run in commercial grades as well as premium grades. Our sizes are limited only to .050" dia. minimum to 5-1/2" dia. maximum.   We have 7 extruders of various sizes.

We do not produce sheeting.

Tubing that must retain a round shape can be formed on "mandrels" or "poles."

We use a steam curing process in either 17' maximum straight lengths or up to 1,000' continuous coils (depending upon the size of part) and can be spooled on request.

Cutting:

We provide a variety of cutting methods.  They are:

1.     Lathe Cut - (as thin as .062" or as thick as 19") ID must be at least 1" for  lathe cut.

2.     "Prop" Cut - Tubing with an ID larger than 1" can be cut at a high rate of  speed to thicknesses as low as .094".

3.     Guillotine Cut - For larger lengths and cross sections.  At a range of 8"  to 18' long.

4.     "Water Saw" Cut - Larger, heavier profiles can be cut to length as required.

Custom Compound Mixing:

We currently custom mix our own compounds.  This helps reduce lead times and helps us remain cost effective.  We are also in process of initiating some changes that will greatly enhance our Technical Support.  The most common materials are listed above.
The most common colors are:

White    Black   Off-White    Blue    Gray     Red    Tan

We also can run:

Green    Purple   Orange

We run only Black in Nitrile material.

Pail Gaskets/Splicing:

We produce a variety of tubular gasket sizes, colors, lengths and materials.   We do not splice EPDM or Nitrile.  We can splice some profiles such as "u" channels, solid cord, etc.  In addition to tubes into "endless" gaskets.
