Internal Link NetEase Quick Setup

I double-click on The Internet icon and my browser opens, but the Connect To box does not appear. My browser then gives me an error saying "Site Not Found".

MSIE 5/6
Open Control Panel and double-click the Internet Settings icon. Click the Connection tab and verify that "Always dial my default connection" has a dot in it.

If the above setting is correct try closing all programs and restarting your computer properly by clicking Start, choose Shutdown, then click Restart The Computer.

MSIE 4
Open Control Panel and double-click the Internet Settings icon. Click the Connection tab and verify that "Connect to the Internet using a modem" is checked. Click the Settings button and verify the Dial Up Network connection used to access the Internet.

If the above settings are correct and the problem still persists, it is possible that your browser has lost its association with the Dial Up Networking component. This is usually a result of either a power loss or total system lockup during a previous online session.

To fix this, open up My Computer, then open the Dial Up Networking folder. Double-click on the icon to connect to NetEase. This will bring up the Connect To box. Type in your password and press Connect. Once connected, double-click on The Internet icon and wait for the opening page to open. Once it has opened, you may close the browser, then dis-connect your Dial Up Networking session. The next time you click on The Internet it should bring up the Connect To box.

MSIE 3.02
Open Control Panel and double-click the Internet Settings icon. Click the Connection tab and verify that "Connect to the Internet as needed" is checked. Verify the Dial Up Network connection used to connect to the Internet.
