I connect okay, then I get a site not found error when I try to access anything.

Try doing a complete shut down of your system, then restart it and try again. Still no luck? Okay, check your DNS settings and make sure you have the correct entries as found on your account setup sheet.

Did all that and it still does nothing? Check and see how much free hard drive space you have available. You might ask... What does that have to do with anything? A lot! If you are using Windows, then you are using what is known as virtual memory. Without getting into the technical side of things, if you are low on disk space, that means you are also low on virtual memory. Once this starts happening, you will start to get strange errors throughout your computer. Free up some disk space, run scandisk, run a complete defrag of your system, restart your system and try again.
