I am searching for ANY info on my ggggrandparents THOMAS W. BURGESS(b. c1800, Wayne Co,
TN d. c2/1849) m. MARY HILL (b. c1825, Wayne Co, TN d. aft1870, Wayne Co, IL). I know they
had at least 3 children - Mary Virginia (m. Thomas H. Tibbs), Lucinda Emaline (m. James
Henely Morlan), and John Hill (m. Mary C. William). The siblings moved to Wayne Co, IL
where they lived for some time. I would love to share the information I have so far if I

I am searching for the parents of Thomas HILL, who married Elizabeth McCULLOUGH in 1855
in Coffee Co. The 1850 Wayne Co. census has a family with John and Susannah HILL as
parents and Thomas one of 7 HILL children. I don't know if this is "my" Thomas
but he is 15 years of age which is the correct age. He was captured and died in 1865 as a
Civil War soldier. Any help would be appreciated.

In the 1820 Wayne census I find a Jesse HUST/HURST family. In the 1830 Wayne census I
find a Jesse HUST/HURST family living adjacent to a Levi HUST/HURST family. Does anyone
out there have info on these families? I am searching for the family of my ggrandfather,
Elihu D. HURST, who lived in Wayne after the War Between The States. He married his third
wife, Edith BROMLEY, in Wayne in 1888, and they are found in the 1890 Wayne census. Any

Edith BROMLEY married Elihu D. HURST in Wayne County in 1888. I am looking for the
parents of both these people. I am also interested in any data Re: Jesse and Levi
HUST/HURST, who are fount in the 1820 and 1830 Wayne censuses. In 1830 these people lived
near a John J. Bromley, who married an Edith HURST. She may have been a daughter of Jesse
