I am looking for birth information on John Reeves born during 1824 in Wayne Co., TN to
Peter Reeves. Peter at the time was married to Sarah "Sally" Redden and John
seems to have been the child of an affair outside of the marriage but was accepted by
Sally and Peter and raised by them along with their other children. Family lore indicates
the possibility of an Indian servant girl being the birth mother of John. We are needing
to verify the Indian lineage as well as who the birth mother is. Peter's brothr may have
been a preacher at a Wayne County Baptist church. This family later moved to Searcy Co,
AR.

Looking for info on the siblings and parents of Sarah Catherine EVANS b. about 1850 in
possibly GA, daughter to William EVANS. This Sarah Catherine m. Henry Clayton ROBERSON,
son of Nathan D. ROBERSON, in Wayne County, TN. Sarah Catherine and Henry Clayton sold
their TN land and moved to north Texas in late part of the century. They settled near
Plano, TX. Some of Sarah's siblings also moved to Texas about the same time. Known
siblings are Mary Evans COOPER, Emmaline Evans BLASSENGAME, Ben EVANS, and George EVANS.
Are these names familiar to anyone? Was William EVANS married to a Mary EVINS or EVENS of
Indian descent?

I am doing research on Samuel Martin and Sarah A. Reed who were married on 8-3-1873 in
Wayne County, Tennessee. In 1880, her brothers John, Jasper and Henry were living with the
couple. They had at least two children, Sarah Malissa Martin (married James Butler) and

the parents of my 4th greatgrandfather Richard H. STAGGS born May 6 1804 Wayne Co. Died

Looking for info about John Riley Rose, his family lived in Wayne Co. Some of them left
Tennessee for Hill Co. Texas between 1850 and 1860. If there are ancestors left in Wayne
Co., do you know which men left for Texas? It would be men related to William Rose of the
1820 census or James Rose of the 1830 census. I know Louisia "Cass" Rose came to
Hill Co. Texas at the same time. She was daughter of SGB Rose.

My grandfather's name was John Gideon HUGHES, born January 29, 1896. His daughter,
Frances Montague HUGHES is my mother. John Gideon HUGHES'father was John F. HUGHES, who
married Lizzie DIXON. John F. HUGHES' father was John W. HUGHES, who married Keturah
