PHILLIPS

Looking for information on Andy PHILLIPS, born about 1865 in Wayne County TN. His father was Joseph PHILLIPS (born 15 March 1831 in Tennessee)and his mother was Casandra F. (Sissy) RILES (born about 1834 in Tennessee.) His grandfather was Samuel B. PHILLIPS (born 1760 in North Carolina). Andy married Mary Adeline GRAVES on 3 November 1885 in Wayne County. Mary GRAVES was born in April 1869 in Wayne County. I have no other information on Andy, except that he is reported to have died in 1893, just before the birth of his third son, Thomas Melvin PHILLIPS. Also looking for information on Mary GRAVES who, after Andy died, moved to Parker County Texas where she is listed in the 1900 census, then disappears. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

COOK

I am seeking info on a GEORGE W. COOK, born 1812 TN, died 1888 Clark Co. AR. He and his family lived in Wayne Co. from atleast 1836 to 1850. I believe the 1850 census of Wayne Co. TN has him listed as George Cook, age 41 [38 ?]born TN, wife ABTEL [maybe ABIGAIL],age 40 born SC; DELSEY [DEMPSEY ?], age 20; ISAAC, AGE 18; MARY E.[L.],age 14; WASHINGTON [G.W. Jr.], AGE 11; ANDREW, age 4. Although there are some errors in this record I think it is for my grgrgrandfather, GWC,Sr. GWC,Sr.,Dempsey, GWC,Jr. and Mary Cook were in AR in the 1850's. Lt.GWC,Jr., died in the Civil War at Yazoo, MS. I don't have any info whatsoever on Abtel\Abigail, Isaac or Andrew Cook. I am guessing that they died in Wayne Co. TN after 1850. Anything would be helpful. Thanks.
