Calvin McCulley was Elias Frierson's father. I believe that Calvin was related to R.A

Martin Prater m. 3-5-1861 Louisa J. Mathis-( Mathews.) Martin was the son of King

I am looking for information on my ggggggggrandfather Doublehead, b. 1750 Somerset, KY.
d. 1807 Wayne Co., KY. burial Doublehead Gap, Wayne Co. Next to his name on the web site
where I found him was the word Chuqualatague. This made me wonder if he was a Native
American. He also had a daughter, Cornblossom, who was married to Jacob "Big
Jake" TROXEL. Cornblossom also had a sibling "Tuckaho" After reading all of

My great-grandfather John Hill BURGESS was believed by my family to have been born in
Wayne County, Tennessee. Or, if not, we think that his father was. Either John Hill
BURGESS, or his parents, left Tennessee prior to the Civil War and moved North, through
Kentucky, eventually settling in Wayne County, Illinois. I am seeking any evidence or

Silas (my g-g-grandfather) was the grandson of Josiah THORNTON, Sr. and Sarah of Wayne
County (from 1830 until their deaths in 1849). His father was Josiah, Jr. and his
mother--Frances DEWBERRY THORNTON. Silas lived in Hardin County from 1845 - 1856 and in

Is Albert PEARCELY listed on 1890 Veterans Census Grundy Co. TN the same man as Albert
GALLIAN. Census gives PEARCELY as alias of GALLIAN, and vice versa. Have an Alberty
GALLION, b. 1839 Lauderdale Co. AL who served in Co. E, 2nd TMI from Wayne Co. TN and
reportedly deserted in 1864. Was said to have been notorious "bushwacker" and a
member of the infamous "Tom CLARK gang" during the Civil War. Any information

I am researching the BALENTINE family that came from Cypress Inn, Wayne Co., TN. Samuel
D. BALENTINE ( son of William J. BALENTINE) married Mary Adeline SHELTON Dec. 16, 1870 in

Seeking any information concerning Allen MARTIN and Nancy DRENEN. Allen was born around
1845, somewhere in Tennessee (possibly Wayne County). Allen may have been raised by his
grandparents who was named REEVES. Allen MARTIN married Nancy DRENAN
(DRINEN/DRENHAN/DRENON) in 1862, in Perry Co. Tennessee. To this union was born one child,
Mary B. MARTIN, born 1862-died 1869. Nancy later married Abram BRILEY, and Robert RUSSELL.
She died after 1905 in Hardin County, Tennessee. Allen MARTIN joined the Confederate
Calvary in 1862. Allen later married Lucinda HIBBARD, and Mary CULVER. Allen homesteaded

The 1860 Census lists a James D CELLARS, 14 years old. He is listed with John &
Martha NESBITT. I am looking for information about the NESBITTS. Does anyone know the
