born NC ca1818. They were married probably in Lincoln or Marshall county, TN., date unk.
Lookin for info on parentage of Melissa Jane Ricketts. Her father is given as John
Ricketts, her mother as Martha Ann Jane Wilson. They lived in the Lawrence county area in
1880's.

TREADWELL.....anywhere in the state..I know there are a lot in Memphis, but have not been
able to make a contact with anyone there yet..I know there is a high school named
Treadwell.so there must be some history of the family there..I am building a Treadwell
database and have over 8,000 names in it now..and only about 15-20 in Tn..Look forward to
hearing from other Treadwell researchers..

I am looking for any information concerning Ezekiel Wynn and or Peter D. Wynne. Ezekiel
Wynn (supposedly born in VA) moved to Anson Co NC as a youngster and is found in the 1820
and 1830 census for Anson CO. In 1817 Ezekiel married Lucy Threadgill of Anson Co NC.
About 1840, Ezekiel and Lucy loaded the kids on a flatboat and came down the French Broad
and Tennessee Rivers disembarking in Wayne Co. After a short stay they moved to Obion Co
TN. Ezekiel is found in the 1850 census in Obion Co. I think that Peter D Wynne was also
in Wayne CO about the same time. Peter moved to Shelby CO TN where he died about 1850. I
am trying to see if their is a connection between the two. Any information will be

I am looking for information on Lanier Brewer Jr. He may have moved to Lawrence or Wayne
County Tennessee just before 1800. He is rumored to have had upwards to 36 children, 35 of
which were sons. Some of his known sons are John, George, Henry M., Soloman, Wiley,
Corenelius, and Julius. He probably moved from NC or VA. Thanks!

My great, great grandparents, Almeda BUTLER(13 Dec 1844) and Joseph Jackson BRADY (14 Mar
1829)were both born in Wayne County TN. This was his second marriage. He had two children
by his first wife. Their names-Mary Elizabeth BRADY (married James HAIGOOD)and Frances
A.BRADY, married F. A. COURSEY. I don't know the name of his first wife. Their children
were Martha Jane BRADY, married J. P. HAMMONDS; Joseph Jackson BRADY, Jr., married Delfa
___; John William BRADY, married Hettie MIldren WILSON; David James BRADY, married Allie
__; Sarah Ella BRADY, married Oscar SHERMAN. Also, my great grandmother, Lucinda Fairbelle
